I started out shredding on mountain bikes for fun, but was looking for something to make me faster. After finally growing into my dad’s road bike from the shed I started riding on the road to get faster on my mountain bike. However, I found going straight out the door and onto the road more convenient than getting a ride from mom or dad to the trails. After becoming hooked on road cycling I purchased a fixed gear just for fun, but realized that it was a viable training option as well. After racing some local alleycats I was hooked to fixed gears as well. Now a days I race road, fixed gear, cyclocross, and the occasional mountain race. I am always looking for the next thing to make me just a little faster, so I can get the best results possible, and state bicycle co has been my biggest supporter in doing so!
