Fantastic Value

If you aren't able to commit more money to a bike, this is a great option. I bought it as my first bike, and have been slowly upgrading the parts/ personalizing the look as I go. The only thing I had to change right away to enjoy the ride was the seat and the pedals. The other modifications were nice to have's. I was originally pretty regretful about going with a hi-ten steel frame instead of a nicer material, but after upgrading the wheels, stem, and handlebars, I got the weight down to sub-20 lb's and I couldn't be happier with the bike. I'm still rolling on the stock drivetrain and have not complaints about it.
The frame color is also gorgeous - I get compliments all the time.

Blue Jay Core-Line
High Gloss - Crispy Blue

The Blue Jay is a twist on one of our original 4130 Core Lines, "The Tsunami". The bike is versatile and tough, yet classic at the same time. It's built on a durable steel frame in a classic hi-gloss blue finish, chrome components, a flip-flop hub for freewheel or fixed-gear riding, and Van's "waffle pattern" grips. All for less than £300. If you're looking for a fun and well-built bike, but aren't yet looking for a "race-ready-bike", the Blue Jay from the Core-Line series is for you.
