Love my Hanzo

This is my second fixie and by far my favorite bike I've had. It's honestly a dream to ride.
So a few things so you know
-stock pedals are black. I'd have liked to have get something silver, so it's got a more uniform look.
-the seat is relatively comfortable, I liked the look of it and if you don't mind some butt bruising initially its easy to get used to
-The Vans grips are super comfortable and squishy, but pick up dirt easily. They're easy to clean though I just wipe them down if I fuck em up.
-I wouldn't get the kickstand as it scratches the finish on the bike.
-get a helmet and lights if you can, I've been going pretty fast and eating shit on this is going to fuck up your month without them. It's a high bike
-Definitely get a good lock on this, it stands out in a crowd
-It does need assembly, double check the grips to make sure that the caps are installed properly
-Also if you do get it professionally assembled it comes with a 5 year warranty so that's cool.

so light, handles well, so fun to ride. with minor adjustments, just a perfect ride.

The simply pleasure of riding

This is an awesome bicycle, especially at its price point. I bought it to take my toddler on rides and it serves that purpose wonderfully. I'm nit-picking here - but I would have loved to see a higher quality hand brake (there's a bit too much play in the included ones) and steel/chrome pedals (as opposed to the standard black plastic).

Good enough

First off, I have to say the aesthetic of the bike is a hit. Perfect in terms of what I was looking for- slim, thin, and still fabulous. I have ridden my bike to work twice which adds up to about 16 miles, and have rode it to hang around or just to get some air. This is barely enough for me to speak about quality so far, however, I did already have to replace the inside of my tire because I got a flat on the second day. The wheels feel smooth though on the streets which is cool, but I do hope no more flats happen anytime soon. Another thing is the weight although this is on my part. I thought it would be lighter than it actually is but it's still nothing too crazy compared to my old bike. One last complaint is the seat. I am used to the seat now but it's still not comfortable and makes my butt ache haha. Time will tell how much this bike is going to last me (I hope a good while!)

Hanzo Core-Line
Classic Cherry Red and Chrome

The Hanzo is a twist on one of our original 4130 Core Lines, "The Samurai". The bike is versatile and tough, yet classic at the same time. It's built on a durable steel frame in a classic hi-gloss red finish, chrome components, a flip-flop hub for freewheel or fixed-gear riding, and Van's "waffle pattern" grips. All for less than £300. If you're looking for a fun and well-built bike, but aren't yet looking for a "race-ready-bike", the Hanzo from the Core-Line series is for you.
